Access to Recovery

The Access to Recovery program helps people who have been through the Criminal Justice System for substance abuse problems. It offers the freedom to choose treatment at a Faith-based, Community or Traditional Center. Goodwill works with the individual to monitor treatment. A web-based electronic voucher system allows funds to go to qualified individuals for their treatment or recovery support services. Access to Recovery II is a collaborative effort of Louisiana's Office of the Governor, United States Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse Mental Services Administration Center for Substance Abuse Treatment and Louisiana's Department of Health and Hospitals, Office of Addictive Disorders.
